The Soulpepper Academy of 2011/2012 has crafted a theatrical experience centred around dirt as both a provocation and an actual substance, filling the theatre with dirt, movement and sound. Through the use of contemporary urban stories, provocative and humours movement pieces, and multimedia technology, the Academy digs deep into how dirt is ubiquitous, from grime and fingernails to dark, dirty secrets. Previews start May 18.
